Senior Resource Geologist – Perth Based

The employer in Perth is seeking an experienced Resource Geologist for an opportunity offered at Senior Consultant level. Our Perth based team has an increasing workload and you would form an integrated part of this successful area of our business, both undertaking technical work and developing client relationships.

As the Senior Resource Geologist within our business you will need to have significant experience, you will be degree qualified and have held senior technical roles. Consulting experience is a plus but not a prerequisite for appointment.

The successful applicant will have significant experience in rock and soil mechanics, an understanding of numerical modelling and exposure to open pit and/or underground mining. Tertiary qualifications in Geotechnical Engineering or Rock Mechanics are required as a minimum.

On an interpersonal level you will have excellent communication skills, the ability to work in a team environment, lead small projects, mentor Consultant level staff and liaise with Principal level consulting staff on team and project requirements. Your positive attitude and work ethic are paramount to your success in this role. As with any consulting position some travel is required, the duration of which is project dependent.
