You can score an additional 5 bonus points in the points test for skilled migration if you have skills in one of Australia's community languages.
You must either:
- Have professional level language skills as evidenced by a qualification equivalent to an Australian degree at an university where instruction was in the language; OR
- Be accredited by the National Accreditation Authority for Translators & Interpreters (NAATI) at the professional level (Level 3);
